The commercial lead at a multi-billion-dollar sales organization faced a critical challenge: complete a company-wide annual strategic planning process without the ability to hire a team due to a corporate hiring freeze. To move forward, the client brought on an interim director-level strategy leader to steer the effort.

In this role, we:
- Led the cross-functional executive planning PMO.
- Drove alignment across executive-level stakeholders and business units.
- Assessed and drove alignment for new sales models essential to reaching revenue targets.
Results
The organization entered the fiscal year with a fully aligned strategic plan and clear execution milestones—hitting first-quarter growth targets. New sales capacity models and incentive structures were implemented, alongside a large-scale sales enablement strategy. By the end of the engagement, the interim director was hired full-time and now leads strategic planning for the organization.
