Situation
A private equity–backed home services company was entering a phase of rapid growth under a newly formed leadership team. The executives were a mix of seasoned leaders and newer, less experienced hires.
While individually capable, they hadn’t yet gelled as a unit. Working relationships were inconsistent, trust was uneven, and collaboration across the team was limited. Without clear norms or productive ways of partnering, the group struggled to unlock progress—both collectively and within their respective functions.
Action
Keenan Reid deployed its Ignite360+™ methodology—a rigorous, data-informed process combining structured surveys, qualitative interviews, and in-person facilitation to accelerate team alignment and leadership effectiveness.
The engagement included:
- Organizational Diagnosis: Identified the top blockers limiting leadership effectiveness and cross-functional progress
- Capability Discovery: Conducted 360° assessments to surface each leader’s strengths, gaps, and blind spots
- The Core Five™ Workshop: Facilitated a working session to build trust, define shared accountabilities, and establish a collaborative team dynamic
- Team Action Plan: Codified new working norms and behavioral commitments to ensure accountability and sustain momentum
Results
The engagement acted as a cultural reset, establishing clearer expectations and shared norms that elevated trust across the leadership team. With greater transparency and aligned behaviors, collaboration began to take root—shifting the team from loosely connected individuals to a more cohesive, purpose-driven unit.
As trust grew, natural realignments occurred. Areas of misfit surfaced and resolved without disruption, while previously underutilized leaders began to step into more visible, influential roles. The team emerged from the process more connected, more accountable, and better equipped to lead through growth—together.
